    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to point out that following the enactment of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2003, a National Plan of Action of 2004, has been formulated. The National Council for Persons with Disabilities, which was established in November, 2004, seeks to ensure that rights and privileges outlined in the Act are realised. The following have so far been achieved under the Persons with Disabilities Act. One, the raising of retirement age for persons with disabilities. That is what we are doing to operationalise the Act."
