"content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. May 24, 2007 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES 1609 (a) I am aware that on 13th May four vehicles were waylaid by armed bandits along the Rumuruti-Maralal Road and passengers robbed of cash, mobile phones and other valuables. (b) In order to provide security along the Road, the Government has deployed the Highway Patrol Police Unit and a contingent of ten General Service Unit (GSU) personnel from Mwatetu GSU Camp to patrol along the Road with a view to preventing any further attacks and also arresting the criminals. Right now, these officers are busy combing the area, trying to nab these criminals."
