"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, when this Government came into power, it promised to remove discrimination against women and promised to elevate their status. But, what I am hearing from this Assistant Minister shows that he does not care. Is this not the Ministry that is guilty of discrimination against women when they want to get their identity cards (IDs) and passports? Could the Assistant Minister assure this House that he will take this matter seriously and go and analyze the policies and reverse those that discriminate against women?"
