    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, for this opportunity to contribute on this Motion. First of all, I want to thank the sponsors of the trips to the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland. Indeed, I want to say this was not a leisure trip. We have read the Report and it means well for the improvement of this Parliament. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I happened to one of the first Commissioners of the Kenyan Parliamentary Service Commission. It is through such tours that we have recorded a lot of improvement in this Parliament. First of all, we toured the Uganda Parliament. We discovered that Members of Parliament there did not have offices. They were working from their vehicles. We learnt a lot from there. Today, every hon. Member of Parliament in Kenya has an office which is a plus resulting from such tours."
