Under Section 24 of the Sexual Offences Act, 2006, a teacher who impregnates his pupils is supposed to be charged and convicted with a sentence of up to ten years. What then is the Ministry doing because this is not a civil matter? It is a criminal matter? Could the Assistant Minister tell us what she will do to ensure that these teachers are arrested and charged?"
