When His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya, the Hon. Emilio Mwai Kibaki, visited Gucha, he directed that another sugar factory be established at Nyangweta Forest. The issue of directive would, really, not have had to be if the Minister acted on the directive of His Excellency the President. What is the Minister doing to ensure that the issue of capacity is addressed by creating another sugar-processing plant at Nyangweta Forest, where there is plenty of land?"
