It is very important that the Government honours these athletes and puts more emphasis and money in sports; whether it is football, athletics or hockey. We regret the boxing event where Kenya used only to be second to Cuba among Third World boxers. Today, we do not talk much about boxing. I think we need to go back to identifying talents early, so that we can develop them. This is one way of helping our youth get employment, market the country and become successful in life."
