"content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, first of all, this Sidindi-Malanga Water Supply is operational, and is from Siaya District and supplies part of Eshirombe, Muhaka and Bibi areas of western part of Khwisero Division, and areas around Shirotsa Tank. So far, in the Financial Year 2005/2006, the Ministry gave Kshs1.2 million, which was used for rehabilitation work on the storage tank and the distribution pipeline. It is operational in Kisa West Location, with over 100 consumers. On the Mwikalika Community Water Project, this is, first of all, a community water project with a borehole, C7007 at the source. It is located in East Kisa. The initial borehole was damaged in 1997. The Government, through Lake Victoria North Water Services Board, allocated Kshs3 million to the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation to drill a replacement borehole. The project is operational, though some minor works are yet to be completed on those two projects."
