    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, as you know, the Co-operative Act came into place in 2004. One of the areas that we are pursuing, is to make sure that the committees liaise very closely and co-operate with the members before they make any serious decisions. In terms of the SACCO that we are talking about, like I said, most of the problems were because of the irregular lending, internal borrowing and loan defaulting. Since the current committee came into place, we are happy to note that all the challenges have been addressed."
