    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, being aware of the critical role of the Government is bound to play in the sound management of the provision of clean water for domestic use to the public at a cost effective rate; concerned that some private water service providers have taken advantage of certain inherent weaknesses in the Water Act, 2002 resulting in their focusing more on making profits than on improving water quality and supply, this House grants leave to introduce a Bill for an Act of Parliament to amend the Water Act in order to provide for public sector participation in the sustainable management of provision of water services and for matters incidental thereto and connected therewith."
