    "content": " Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) I am aware that the Kenya Tea Development Agency signed a marketing agreement with Lipton Tea of London early this year. (b) This is a standard tea purchasing agreement between Lipton and all its suppliers internationally. There is no financial involvement until the weekly contract is signed, whose prices are pegged on the prevailing tea auction price. The anticipated benefit to the tea farmer is that it gives an assured market of tea at a price not less than the auction price."
