"content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I would like to thank the Assistant Minister for the answer he has given. Due to the prolonged drought and water scarcity all over the country, the little water that is left in water pans in Ijara has been contaminated and is not good for human consumption. The Ministry has just given Kshs3 million for emergency water intervention, which has covered 30 villages. What is he going to do to cover the remaining 70 villages that have not benefitted from the emergency intervention? They are in dire need of water."
