    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to give notice of the following Motion:- THAT, aware that the East African Community Treaty was ratified by the Parliaments of the three partner States before it came into force; cognizant that Article 50 of the Treaty provides that any amendments to the Treaty be ratified by all the partner States; further, cognizant that Parliament is the sole legislative arm of the Government of Kenya; this House resoles that any amendment to the existing Treaty be submitted to the National Assembly for ratification. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is a party-sponsored Motion. INTRODUCTION OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES BILL"
