However, I would like to ask him whether the idea is to assist co-operative societies or farmers, who are the direct beneficiaries of those societies. In that case, instead of giving Kshs3.2 billion to offset debts owed by co-operative societies, I thought he should have started with the farmers. What is he doing to ensure that farmers will benefit from the revamping of the coffee industry?"
