    "content": "(Prof. Saitoti): Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I just want to speak very briefly about this Motion and say that it is a Motion which is most welcome for the very fact that it is intended to set up the Board which is intended to vet the judges and the magistrates. When I look at the proposal to appoint Mr. Sharad Rao as the Chairman of this Board, I do feel that a prudent recommendation has been arrived at. This is not somebody that we do not know. This is somebody we know very well as having had an extremely good record in terms of having been a very hard working person. He is a person who has distinguished himself with abilities. At an extremely difficult time, he did his work and one cannot have any report where they can say that he will not do his job. He is known to be a very strict person and fair to that point of view. Therefore, I commend the Constitutional Implementation Oversight Committee (CIOC) for having seen that this person will be able to lead this Board which has a very enviable job of vetting the magistrates and the judges."
