    "content": "On a point of information, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I want to confirm to the hon. Member who is contributing, about the issue of pending bills. When I was a Minister in charge, I appointed a committee to investigate the pending bills. The committee produced a report which I tabled in the Cabinet and as a result, a special committee was set up, led by the former Controller and Auditor-General, Mr. D.G. Njoroge. I would like the hon. Member to know that to date, that committee has not produced any report, yet they have continued to pay some of those pending bills. That confirms what the hon. Member is saying."
