    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to ask the Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Development the following Question by Private Notice. (a) Is the Minister aware that there is a high risk of an outbreak of tick-borne and other livestock diseases in Nandi District because the acaricide (Amytrace) being used in the two Nandi Districts is now ineffective against ticks and other vectors? (b) Is the Minister further aware that farmers in nearby Uasin Gishu District have been allowed to change from Amytraces and are now using Synthetic Parathyroid which is effective against all ticks and other vectors? (c) Could the Minister allow farmers in the two Nandi Districts to change Synthetic Parathyroid to avoid the looming outbreak of livestock diseases?"
