"content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, first of all, I would like to disagree with the hon. 422 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES April 5, 2007 Member because according to our reports based on scientific investigations, and I think we have the best laboratories in the region, they show very clearly that ticks in Nandi are not resistant to Amytrace. We have already sent several teams to Nandi and some to Uasin Gishu. According to the report from the scientific analysis, ticks in Uasin Gishu are becoming resistant to this acaracide. So, why should we use this acaracide in Nandi when it is not necessary?"
