    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have already explained that all police officers from the level of constable to senior sergeant are housed by the Government. They are also paid a house allowance. It is only the senior police officers, from the rank of an inspector to the top, who are paid a housing allowance and allowed to look for their own houses. Yesterday, if the hon. Member who is asking the question was here--- He was not here! That is why he is asking the question. I detailed the housing units that the Government has undertaken to date, and the number that it has completed so far. If you walk around the country, you will see the Government putting up police housing units. We have already completed 14 projects which had stalled during the previous Government. We are busy putting up more housing units for the police. This Government has done what no other Government has ever done since Independence."
