    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is a known fact that when insecurity takes place, the people who bear the biggest brunt are women and children. I am asking this House to do something to protect the women and children in Mt. Elgon. Normally, their men take off and most of them are the cause of this insecurity. They normally take off alone, but a woman takes off with ten children. How is that possible? The Government needs to come in and protect the women and children of Mt. Elgon. The Government should also put up a rescue centre for the women and children. The men can stay out and protect us but we need the protection of the Government, especially as far as shelter and food are concerned. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to support."
