When they went to areas like Trans Nzoia, they were declared persona non-grata because they refused to cook or serve the interests of the whites. That is why you realize that it is the more friendly communities who would easily work in those white farms who were taken to Trans Nzoia and they were transplanted back to Mt. Elgon.
