However, recently, the Government appointed the Electoral Commissioners and then went ahead to claim that they had made extensive consultations. Could the Assistant Minister confirm to the House that the kind of consultations that they did with respect to the appointment of the Electoral Commissioners are the kind of consultations that they also want to do with respect to the constitutional amendments?"
