It seems the Assistant Minister does not have adequate information about the current infestation of Lake Victoria by that weed. All the small water bodies and wetlands around the lake are also heavily infested by that weed. Sometime back, beetles were introduced to control that weed. The Assistant Minister has suggested the manual control of that weed. But that method failed! What happened to the beetles?"
