"content": "Of course, there is the issue of adequacy; I am imagining a situation of these generic drugs, which are supposed to be cheap. But when they are dispensed at the counters, they are cheap but people do not know the difference between them and the original drugs, which are the branded ones. I am suggesting that the generic drugs must be labeled distinctly the way the same Ministry labels cigarette packets, that smoking is harmful to your health. This should be so that when people are buying them they know about their harmfulness. This is because you find generic drugs that cost Kshs10 and others that cost Kshs500, but Kenyans are made to buy the expensive ones when they could have bought the generic ones more cheaply."
