    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I am dealing with the supply end of the chain. We have stabilised the prices of maize for the last four years at Kshs1,300. On the fertilizer prices, this is a liberalised market and, therefore, the Ministry has only been intervening through the NCPB. The difference between the fertiliser at the NCPB and the market is close to Kshs300 as a way of trying to ameliorate the situation for farmers."
