    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, when we last debated this clause, the then Minister for Finance requested that he goes to consult further. I wish to report to hon. Members that after consultations, I have instructions from His Excellency the President to withdraw Clauses 16(2) and (3) which were really not the bone of contention, so that Clause 16 will basically refer to Clause 16(1). Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I, therefore, beg to move:- THAT, Clause 16(1) of the Banking Act be amended by deleting Section 44. This is without the effect of what was done in the past. I request that we make progress so that we clear with Clause 17."
