    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am embarrassed when I am amongst our East African brothers and sisters, purely and simply because the Government was unable to do what is right and just. It took hon. Members moving to the East African Legislative Court to seek justice. What we are witnessing is nothing to be proud of. Indeed, there was a time when some of us felt proud. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, indeed, there was a time when people thought that this Government had a direction. However, the greed for power and arrogance has settled into this Government and it is a shame. I beg to oppose this Motion! Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, there is a Motion that was brought before this House on Wednesday, which I would have liked us to deliberate on before we go on recess. It is not a Motion for us to win or lose, but to give this House an opportunity to deliberate on the issues that are going on in this country. It is a very sad state of affairs when we talk about a growing economy. With those few remarks, I beg to oppose."
