    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 12 be amended- (i) in subclause (1) by deleting the words \"on the advice of the Commission\" and substituting therefor the words \"on the recommendation of the Commission\"; and, (ii) by inserting the following new subclause (2)- \"The Minister may appoint the Director-General mentioned in subsection (1) from a list of three names of persons submitted by the Commission provided that the commission obtains the names through competitive selection process.\" (iii) by renumbering the other subclauses apropriately; 4234 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES December 6, 2006 (iv) in subclause (2)(a) by deletig the word \"or\", and insering the words \"or related field\" after the word \"energy\". Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, in part (ii) of the amendment, as it appears on the Order Paper, the word \"shall\" is a typographical error by the drafters. The correct word is \"may\"."
