    "content": " Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 70 be amended by:- (i) deleting subclause (1) and substituting thereof the following new subclause:- \"The Minister may, on recommendation of the Authority, appoint a Chief Executive of the Authority from a list of three names of persons submitted by the Board through competitive selection\" (ii) inserting the following new subclause:- (2) The person appointed under subsection (1) shall be the chief executive of the Authority and, subject to the directions of the Board, be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Authority\". (iii) renumbering subclause (2) as subclause (3)."
