    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, on behalf of the Committee on the Adminstration of Justice and Legal Affairs, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended in Section 3 (1)(a)- (e) by inserting the following new subparagraph immediately after subparagraph (ii)- (iii) any legal proceedings arising from any written law, including quasi- judicial proceedings. (f) by deleting the word \"Minister\" and substituting therefor the words \"Attorney- General\" The rationale for this proposal is that the protection of witnesses by the Attorney-General should not be discriminatory. The classification of the witnesses is narrow, restrictive and defeats the very purpose of this Bill. We would like also proceedings before Parliamentary Committees to fall under this law."
