We know so far that these lakes are drying up because the rivers that supply them with water have also dried up. Could the Assistant Minister consider gazetting the Mau catchment area so that the encroachment by individuals on that land can stop and vigorous tree planting exercise can be conducted in that area to reverse this trend?"
