    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the answer the Assistant Minister is giving is not a serious one. This is a very serious issue. Our tourism industry, especially within the Central Rift depends on Lake Nakuru and Lake Elementaita. The Assistant Minister is talking about 4076 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES November 30, 2006 gazettement of the schemes, most of which are in my constituency. He has said that the Government will gazette that area. He is not being serious. I know the Government cannot remove the people who have title deeds from those schemes. What is the Assistant Minister doing to make sure that we increase the amount of forest cover within the Mau region, whether it is in the settlement schemes or in the other areas where the Government has refused to plant trees?"
