In discussions between him and my Committee, we agreed that this Bill should give an allowance of 90 days for payment of claims. We also agreed that the total number of days should be 120. Now, he has increased this to beyond 90 days. Is it as a result of pressure from the insurance companies? A new provision has been made for another 30 days of extension by the Commissioner of Insurance."
