    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- \"THAT, Clause 21 of the Bill be amended:- (a) by deleting the words \"appointed officers\" and substituting therefor the words \"authorised officers\", (b) by deleting subclause (4) and substituting therefor the following new subclause:- (4) Whenever it is necessary to cause a refugee to be searched, the search shall be made by an authorised officer of the same sex who, in conducting the search shall have strict regard to decency: Provided that where an authorised officer of the same sex as the refugee to be searched cannot be found, the search may be conducted by another person of the same sex notwithstanding that that other person is not an authorised officer."
