We have sent two brand new motorcycles to Khwisero Division although they have another two new serviceable bikes and one motor vehicle. We have also tried to increase the money that is available for these officers. In fact, we have now given them Kshs500,000 to start operations. We are re-looking at our budgetary provisions to ensure that most of the money is within that area. So, I wish to confirm to the hon. Member that we need to appreciate that it is an enormous task but we need to make maximum use of the officers who are there so that they can extend their mandates and give farmers the service that they so much desire."
