We have been told that private schools have paid their taxes and the 3738 PARLIAMENTARY DEBATES November 16, 2006 Assistant Minister has stated their amounts. We are not talking about free primary education but of poor facilities in schools where the children of the poor attend compared to those of private schools. Could the Assistant Minister inform the House how much of this money has been used to directly improve the poor facilities in schools attended by children from poor parents so that they can have a level playing ground with their rich counterparts? How much of this money has been used to narrow this gap?"
