Member that this is a secular state and there is no discrimination whatsoever in terms of religion, creed, race or colour. The problem of ID cards is countrywide and as a Ministry, we are trying our level best so that all the applicants are issued with them. In fact, we are in the process of reviewing various laws which are obnoxious now because they were passed long time ago so that they may address this issue of issuing ID cards to all people who are attaining the age of 18 years irrespective of any discrimination whatsoever."
