    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Assistant Minister is aware that every time his boss goes to Coast Province, the most important issue that is raised by Muslim leaders is issuance of identity cards and passports because of the discrimination being perpetrated against the people of not just the North Eastern and Coast provinces but wherever somebody bears the name of a Muslim. The recent example is that lady boxer who had a Muslim name. The other example is the Kenya Television Network (KTN) editor who had a Muslim name. The concern here is the very frustrating vetting process. Even after vetting has been done in the North Eastern Province, it is done again in Nairobi. Could he tell the House whether his Ministry is ready - if we give him concrete examples of that vetting process - to take action to reverse or eliminate some of the processes which actually discriminate against Muslims? This is no way to reduce the number of Muslims in the country."
