    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I wish to thank the Minister for indicating that money has been allocated for this road and that work is about to begin this month. I am sure the Minister is well aware of the bad state of the road, especially in the last two weeks when the rains have caused havoc in Coast Province. Mr. Speaker, Sir, however, I wish to draw the attention of the Minister to the fact that part of the problem has been the increase of heavy duty lorries carrying salt and relief supplies to the northern part of this country. I am sure that during the design stage of this road, this factor was not taken into account. The Minister has indicated that Kshs95 million has been set aside for the works. Does it include changing the design of the road to allow more load because now there are heavy lorries plying the road and they are causing a lot of damage?"
