    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, in terms of the statistics that have been published by the Central Bureau of Statistics, there is gross inequality in the distribution of health services, to the extent that in a place like the North Eastern Province, there is one doctor to 120,000 people. For instance, in my constituency, two sub-district hospitals have not a single doctor. Each of the facilities has got only one clinical officer and three nurses. Could the Assistant Minister tell the House, whether there is a standard policy of distribution of medical workers, equitably, across the country, to avoid this kind of inequality?"
