    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I have made two distinct promises. One, I said I wanted to retire farmers' arrears and, indeed, I have done it. The second promise was to be able to bring back Miwani Sugar Mills into operation and I can assure the House once again that it is possible, but we have had to discuss with various parties, including the 51 per cent shareholding by Oriental Bank which took over from the Mehta Group of Companies. I can assure the House that discussions are in the final stages. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, finally, I want to remind my hon. colleague that he was part of the NARC promises."
