There are no plans for paying hardship allowance to teachers working in Wundanyi and Taveta. The two areas have not been gazetted as hardship areas, according to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Code of Regulations, which was revised in 2005. Only Mbololo, Mwatate and Voi Divisions are classified as hardship areas."
