    "content": " On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I think it is not in order for the Chair to impute that the Government side did not indicate that we intended to respond to this Motion. On the contrary, we gave notice over the same. In any case, it is normal practice that the Government would respond to a Motion. We indicated to the Chair that we would respond to the Motion, and I was given the exact time when I would be responding. I prepared myself to talk for 20 minutes and when the Clerk-at-the-Table started curtailing my time, I pointed out to her that she was, indeed, giving me less time than I was entitled to. Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I think it is wrong for the Chair to allow one side in an argument more time than the other side. The only way the Chair can remedy this situation is actually to allow the Government its full time to make the points that we are entitled to make on the Floor of this House."
