In the meantime, the farmers have continued to make payments to the Co- operative Bank of Kenya and other creditors. Therefore, that figure has not been static. It has been reducing. The Kshs3.2 billion that the Government, through the Coffee Development Fund, has paid the Co-operative Bank of Kenya includes Kshs5.8 billion in SKIP I and SKIP II that has come down substantially."
