Members feel that these figures are rather astronomical. Could the Attorney- General explain to the House the criteria that he used to award these Assisting Counsels and Commissioners this kind of money? Are there really some basic ground rules that he can use to convince the House that the amount spent per Commissioner or Assisting Counsel was actually justified?"
