    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. With diligence, I stand to support this Motion. As a House, we should support the Kshs1.6 million allocation to the Ministry of Trade and Industry. We should have an industrial vision. The Ministry of Trade and Industry is a kingpin of this country. When we talk about transportation, trade is involved. Communication in this country is pathetic. It falls under other Ministries, but it also affects trade and industry. In agriculture, trade is involved. Under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), which mushrooms from the Ministry of Agriculture, trade is involved. Since Independence, our country has never been strict enough to produce Kenyan, buy Kenyan and promote Kenyan. I understand the constraints that the Ministry of Trade and Industry has faced in previous times."
