Although he says that he is not aware, he will reckon that at the beginning of the current rains, the same department had forecast that the rains would not last be that long and the farmers were advised not to plant. Some of the farmers did not even plant and the rains continued raining. To the dismay of the farmers, there was no prolonged drought as a result of that forecast. So, it is true to state that sometimes the forecasts that we get from the department are false. Is the Minister aware that when that happens, the farmers end up losing a lot of money in the planting and the hunger also increases threefold?"
