(a) I am aware (b) I am also aware that the hospital had a gazetted hospital management board whose term expired in December, 2003, amongst other boards countrywide. However, we have received recommendations of the District Development Committee (DDC) whose nominees have been presented to the Minister for consideration, hence for gazettement. (c) I am aware the facility offers the following curative and preventive services such as outpatient services, laboratory, MGH, family planning, maternity and general outpatient services, VCT, PMCT and anti-retroviral therapy similar to other facilities in its status. (d) As stated in (b) above, the Ministry is in the process of undertaking to gazette the names which were recommended by the Nyando DDC during its meeting held on 22nd May, 2006."
