My Ministry will redistribute doctors from where we have excess to where we have a shortfall. At the moment, 15,772 nurses are working in public hospitals including Kenyatta National Hospital and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital. A total of 829 nurses have been recruited since November, 2005, and currently, 1,620 nurses are being interviewed for recruitment."
