    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I have proposed an amendment which is to the effect that Clause 12 be deleted. The reason is that, that Clause as it stands now proposes that the Board will be the one to set the allowances of its members. That will be in conflict with the provisions of the State Corporations Act Cap.486. We had an occasion where the Attorney-General addressed the Public Investments Committee (PIC) on that particular matter. It is for that reason that I consulted the Minister before moving this amendment."
